About
Katy Towell is an Oklahoma/Kansas native who now lives and works in the Philadelphia area. An animator, illustrator, designer and author, Katy dreams of one day being the scary old lady in the haunted house about which all the neighborhood kids tell ghost stories.
Katy has written and illustrated two novels for middle grade kids: Charlie and the Grandmothers (Knopf, 2015) and Skary Childrin and the Carousel of Sorrow (Knopf, 2011). She continues to share animated shorts that aren’t necessarily for kids on YouTube.
